Monumental Sports & Entertainment is a privately owned company that parents six professional sports teams in the District. Founded in 2010 by the current majority owner, chairman and CEO Ted Leonsis, MSE owns and operates the Washington Mystics, the Washington Wizards, the Capital City Go-Go, the Washington Capitals, the Washington Valor and the Baltimore Brigade, as well as Capital One Arena, a 20,000-seat multi-purpose venue in downtown Washington, DC
