On October 26, the Entertainment and Sports Arena hosted its first-ever comedy show for the closing performance of the 10th annual Bentzen Ball comedy festival. The “DC Comedy Homecoming” showcase featured a number of well-known comedians on one stage with ties to the Washington area including host Tig Notaro, Saturday Night Live alum Jay Pharoah, stand-up comedian Aparna Nancherla, 30 Rock‘s Judah Friedlander and more.
Produced by Brightest Young Things and curated by Notaro, the Bentzen Ball celebrated a decade of the festival this year, which featured performances across the District at venues including the Lincoln Theater and the Entertainment and Sports Arena.
