Events DC has partnered with BYT Media on a special DC Homecoming show at this year’s 10th anniversary of the Bentzen Ball Comedy Festival on Saturday, October 26 at the Entertainment and Sports Arena. Curated by comedian Tig Notaro, and produced by BYT, the show will bring together DC homegrown talent: comics born, raised, or educated, here in Washington, DC.

The current lineup includes talent such as Jay Pharaoh, Aparna Nancherla (who performed at the first-ever Bentzen Ball as one of the local openers), Jermaine Fowler, Rory Scovel (another first Bentzen Ball alum), Judah Friedlander and Yamaneika Saunders, with more to be announced.

Commenting on our support of the festival, Events DC’s President and Chief Executive Officer Gregory A. O’Dell said, “Enriching and fostering Washington, DC’s entertainment scene continues to be a top priority for the District and Events DC is committed to promoting our city’s talented artists, signature festivals and venues – to best support our rich and diverse creative community. DC is home to some of the most innovative and diverse musicians in the world with a thriving music scene that embraces diversity. We are especially excited to host this year’s DC Homecoming Show in collaboration with BYT at one of the city’s newest venues, the Entertainment and Sports Arena in the Congress Heights neighborhood.”
