On Wednesday, January 8, 2019, Mayor Muriel Bowser, city officials, developers, and residents celebrated the groundbreaking of the MLK Gateway Project in Historic Anacostia.
The project will include the renovation of the historic retail buildings at the intersection of Good Hope and Martin Luther King Jr. Avenue, SE.
