On April 26, 2016, Events DC in conjunction with Deputy Mayor of Planning & Economic Development, & Monumental Sports hosted a meeting Old Congress Heights School, (Democracy Prep Elementary School) to further discuss the impact that the new Entertainment & Sports Arena will have on the Congress Heights community.
